1985 Dodge Ram 4wd

I have a 1985 Dodge Ram that I am parting out. I expect to keep the chassis and running gear and restore the frame for use with an older Dodge truck, but I am loosing the cab and bed. If I sell the bed before I convert it to a trailer then that's fine, but I do intend on cutting the bed up to turn it into a dump trailer. I will sell the restored frame for the right price, or I will trade the entire truck for a Corvair truck, but I will not sell the frame unrestored unless the price is right. AG

Corvair Parts

10/15/21

I'm working on setting up my engine rebuilding bench, mainly because I need a few engines for my own use. But since I have fortune engine laying around, I expect that I will be doing a few of those engines over again, just to get good running engines on the shelf. I expect to be crating the disassembled components into single engine batches. I have both 164 and 145 CI engines. I have a number of FC engines, but I want to make sure I have four of them for my own use. I am always looking for some degree of parts, but I really need to be reducing my inventory rather than increasing it, since I am 67 yrs old.  If you are looking for an engine, check here from time to time and I will post what I have for sale. As it stands now, I have an 80 hp engine that came out of a VW and presumably has a reverse cam. That engine currently is assembled, but does not turn over. I want $500 for it, pickup at my shop only, I won't ship it, but I may deliver for $2/mile it if it's not too far.

11/14/19

I have begun to review the status of my Corvair supplies, because the work on "The Gnomes of New Hope" has progressed that I feel ok about spending energy on rebuilding the Corvairs again. I had stopped working on Corvairs because it was getting in the way of the creative work I was doing in the theatre. Now that the Storybooks are very close to being finished, working on mechanical stuff again will not interfere with finishing the work. So I am setting up to concentrate on engine work. I will be setting up a page for the Corvairs, so look for a link to that page appearing on the IMS Virtual Studio page. I have been "doing" Corvairs since 1970. AG

Here's an image, just to make it interesting. I've posted a Corvair engine that is set up to mount to a VW transaxle. It's on Facebook Marketplace. $500 for that engine, with a second engine thrown in for another $100. That is a limited time offer, as I may choose to keep the engines and rebuild them. AG

ARCHIVE

I have a collection of Corvair Parts which have been part of my maintenance supplies. I'm reducing my parts down to only one extra powertrain for each of my two Corvairs. I have a 1966 Convertable and a 1961 FC Rampside. I am looking for some parts too, so I will be posting a list here of parts for sale and parts I'm seeking. I would be interested in selling the parts as a lot, but not until I assure that the parts are inventoried to assure that I keep what I need for my vehicles. I know I have about thirteen engines, most of which are disassembled. I also know I have a set of 180 turbo heads, an 80 hp set up for VW, about four truck blocks a late model power top frame (complete but disassembled) I may refinish the top frame and make that available. I'll post photos her later. AG

International 302 Engine for sale

UPDATE Nov 2019

I've just installed a new transmission in this truck, so for the time being the engine is not for sale. I will be looking for a 392 to replace it, so it is available, but not until I find and rebuild another engine.

I do, however, have a T-34 transmission with drive shafts and shifters, which I will sell (since I'm not going to use it) I want $1,500 for all of it. I'll post photos later. I also have an Eaton Rear Axle, I'll look into that later.

Also, I'm looking for other components for the CO1600; 4WD components to convert my truck, Auxullary Transmission, and a two speed Rear Axle. My existing rear axle has 666 ratio. Possibly I can replace the gear cluster and keep the housing.

 ARCHIVE
International 302ci engine. Uncertian of the exact year, but I will post the serial number when I can Currently in my 1962 CO1600. The top and bottom ends have been resealed. Rebuilt Carburetor. The engine runs quite well and has a lot of torque. It just does not have enough power for a 24K lb truck, so I'm swapping it out for a more powerful engine. This would work great in a Scout, a Travel-all, or a pickup. I'll post more as I get it.

Will swap this engine for a 392ci engine, a straight six diesel, or a A250 International Automatic Transmission + the necessary torque converter. Price - $500.

You pick it up, or pay in advance for the freight and packing, or I will deliver up up to 100 miles for a deposit of $3/mile. Sorry but I need to be paid in advance.

 Located outside of Philadelphia.

Architectural Lighting Equipment

I acquired the lighting equipment that was used to illuminate the outside of The Bryn Athyn Cathedral during the June 19th celebration of New Church Day. The cathedral was illuminated onc e a year for this special event. Things changed when Bryn Athyn Cathedral became recognized as part of a National Historic Site.

Now that the Cathedral has become a nationally recognized there has been a great increase in visitor and along with that the occasions for illuminating the outside of the building have increased. So a permanent lighting system was installed, which no longer involves set-up and take-down.

So, to as a service to the church, I bought the equipment and made a deal to split the proceeds of a sale with the church. After inventorying what was there, we are offering it to other facilities or organizations which may also have a occasion to illuminate the outside of a special building, for festivals or special events. This custom designed lighting equipment was quite effective in lighting the Bryn Athyn Cathedral.

Although I do not have the photographs of the illuminations available to me as I write this post (I neglected to save them as a JPG), I will update it later when I do. If you need to talk to me about this equipment send me an email at:

Once we make contact via email, then we can talk on the phone. You can also reach me using Facebook or LinkedIn.
